I'll take the Mercury with that wonderful L-Head V8 with 100hp. Great car for the times.

Tough choice for the top two.

I went with Pontiac, but that is based on styling. Pontiac, Mercury & Dodge

if I go with performance then it is Mercury, Pontiac & Dodge

Style always wins out, so that is why I chose Pontiac.

I like all three, but it's the roof-lines that are intriguing to me and DODGE wins!  To my eyes it has "zooming forward" look and seems a little bulky than the other two.  Oh would I have loved one of the diecast Mints to give us one of these.  Man, they'd look nice on my car shelves!  Great photos all!

I chose the Dodge, but all three have that build-it-now-that-the-war-is-over look.  Where's the Hudson?   And I also agree with George!

Based on looks alone: Pontiac, Dodge and Mercury

'48 Dodge my first [non-legal] ride at age 15. Looks Dodge, drive train Mercury, Pontiac does nothing for me.

This is tough for me. Without looking at the pics I would have said Mercury, Pontiac, Dodge. After looking at the pics it's Dodge and Pontiac tied for 1st, Mercury close behind.
