@kevins Ha!  Maybe that's why I like it.  I've always had a soft spot for the bathtub cars, especially the Packard.

@whodeytink It’s not a bad thing to look like a bumper car Mark, it’s just not my style. I do love this bathtub!

The 356 Speedster is my all-time favorite bathtub car.

One of the best Porsche 356's from the movies was the one Lt. Frank Bullitt's (Steve McQueen) girl friend (Jacqueline Bisset) drove in the movie, Bullitt. (Them in it below):

We have one that shows up regularly to our Cars and Coffee.

If not mistaken Ed, that looks like the Speedster. Low windshield. The one in Bullitt was a "B" or a "C" I believe, not sure, but any 356 will do for me and I also love that 'Pagoda' SL next to it!

For me it's the first Motor Trend COTY winner. I also like the Lincoln, but it's no match for the CDV.

Gents, thanks for the replies.

@kevins Strangely enough Kevin, since I was a kid this particular bumper car always has reminded me of the '47-48 Cadillac!

@perrone1 I believe this is the part where Bullitt's girl friend is very upset after having just walked in on him when he was diverted to a young woman's murder scene.

They both have lots to say, but as much as I like the Caddy, it just too rooted in the past. Other than the iconic fins, the rest looks old and stodgy. While the Lincoln is fresh, sleek and smooth. It takes a more modern viewpoint on luxury.
