I'll step up to the "Step-down" Hudson!

Tough one. I was expecting to choose the Hudson, but on looking closely and reflecting, I have gone with the Mercury.
NOT FAIR! You forced me to vote a TIE! I absolutely love all three equal and they are knockouts in that color! I would have given my first born for all three in 1:24 scale diecast.

Dearly love the styling of the 51 Pontiac Chieftain but that step down Hudson is an absolute classic which in the 50s wasn’t an easy label to apply to any of the iron coming out of Detroit in that decade.
story my brother told me, he bought one, a gorgeous Deep copper colored used 2Dr sedan in 1953-54 ….told me it was the same car the Green Hornet drove! 🤪Lol

Ditto. Love the Mercury too, Pontiac not so much.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
I choose the presence of the Pontiac. 3 very cool cars.

Three outstanding cars all of which I love. For me the Mercury is my pick by the slightest of margins.
No way I could put one of these cars higher than the other. They are all beauties.
I chose the Hudson for sentimental reasons and because I can't vote a tie with three cars. To me the Hudson & the Mercury are tie but the Pontiac is not even close.
I pick the Pontiac, then Hudson, with Mercury third; but this one is very close. I am a big Pontiac fan and love its presence in spite of its comparatively outdated styling. The Hudson windshield cross member is thick and spoils its look to a degree; especially with the top down. The Mercury styling in '49 was the best of this era; each year through to '51 was a bit less appealing IMHO.
Pontiac first followed by Mercury. The Hudson last.
