For 1953, I very much like the Lincoln Capri, a much sleeker vehicle than the Cadillac.

For 1953, I agree that the LINCOLN is much sleeker and newer looking than the Cadillac, that appears dated and bulky.

"Bloated" is the word that comes to mind when I look at that Cadillac so the Lincoln gets my vote today!

The Lincoln looks very much like a product of the mid-60's with those smooth lines, while the Cadillac is the epitome of the 50's- fins, excess chrome, and lots of bulk.  I prefer the Lincoln, but sales figures say I would have been in the minority.

Cadillac for me by far this year.  The front end of the Lincoln is very plain looking to me; especially the headlights.  I much prefer the look of the  Mercury.

Both are luxury cars. I have driven examples of both...the Lincoln drives like a Mercury while the Cadillac drives like a Cadillac. Cadillac for me.

The Cadillac Coupe of the Ville.  The one shown here is a stunner.

To me I am more partial to a Lincoln over Cadillac's, but in this instance the Cadillac says, I'm worth a lot.  The Lincoln is just a plain Jane auto.
