The DeSoto is a great Brooklin model and it's a fabulous photo, but the 1954 Olds with its saddle bag trim is my favorite Olds of the decade. It wins for me.

Wow....this is as close as it gets for me. Olds by a nose in 54! Reverse it for 55 though.
The Olds but I love the DeSoto grill.
DeSoto for both styling and the Hemi V-8.

DeSoto for style and nostalgia. My future wife was driving one on our first date. It was green with a white top.
The DeSoto by the smallest of margins.
The all-new and very merry 1954 Oldsmobile gets my vote.
WOW! This was a tough one! But an edge for the Oldsmobile because of the DASH BOARD.
And if you give me the '55 versions of both cars, it's the same result and for '56 as well. All said though, for '54, '55', and '56 DeSoto and Oldsmobile were spectacular inside and out.

Just have to say, I can't vote "TIE" on any of these "Which Ones?". That's like kissing your sister.

I voted for the DeSoto. I think the Olds is just too bloated looking.
