I love the '57 & '58 DeSoto. Don't care for the '57 - '59 Mercury, '57 & '58 the bumpers are too much, reminds me of the '70 Coronet ugly bumper.

They both look great, although 1958 it was a tough year for the economy. My Dad had '58 Chevrolet and one neighbor had a 1958 Oldsmobile. And on the other side they had a 1958 Pontiac so you never imagine a recession looking at those 3 houses !
