Imperial please. Chrysler corporation lavished it with luxury. It looks better than the baroque Lincoln too.

You're at the top of your game John! A tough one. I gotta like the Imperial a bit more than the Conny for this year pairing.

It is a tough pairing.  I went with the Lincoln as it calls out luxury where the Chrysler, I can't believe I'm say this, just looks plain Jane.  Vote for Lincoln today.

No interest in either luxury liner, I prefer to drive not sail. '58 the worse year for styling in all makes.  For looks between the two I will go with the Continental.

'56 FoMoCo wins for styling; '57 GMC wins for styling; '58 no body wins for styling; Chrysler Corp & AMC, do they have a year they dominated styling? '68 mid-size for CC and '70 for AMC MAYBE.

Imperial styling flows more coherently from front to rear than Lincoln, which overall looks gimmicky to me.

Too massive for me, but the quirky design of the Continental got my attention.

I'd rather be driving that imperial.

I'm voting for the Continental because of its far out style. I do like the Imperial too.

Thanks Gents for your responses.

I agree, Imperial just looks better so gets my vote.
