DeSoto wins on looks alone, although the Mercury has cool space age styling.

DeSoto. I loved it when I first saw it and I still do.

That was when I was 5yrs old...lol. I knew I loved cars.

LOL, that's funny. When I saw the two together, I immediately said, "Mercury wins on looks alone". After 1956, I didn't like the looks of the DeSoto any more. Smile

The '56s were drop-dead gorgeous! Then in '57 with the exception of Chrysler, I was not a fan of any Chrysler Corp. car.

Tough choice for me as I'm not much of a mopar guy, but that's a beautiful DeSoto. The Merc makes my heart pound (in a good way).

I lost interest in the Mercury after '57,so it's the DeSoto for me.
