Imperial please. I love the 50's Imperials. Massive, elegant automobiles for sure.😊

In '58 I like the Imperial styling much more and found the Lincoln headlights surrounds spoiled its looks entirely.  In '59 however Lincoln had vastly improved the grille area, whereas Imperial had added a massive, chunky grille that reminded me of a kid with huge braces.  By '60 both looked pretty good.

They’re both too large and flamboyant for my blue collar tastes but I would’nt mind navigating that beautiful Imperial around town.

No interest in either one, both part of the '58 styling overboard.

Both are such impressive and beautiful giants ! Driving either of these huge and comfortable clouds back in 1958 (or now) really meant you successfully had made it in the world.

I am delighted to have several replicas of the 1958 Lincoln, although 1961 is the closest Imperial model I have.

Brilliant pairing John!! Two luxury class cars yet so different it almost can't be measured. I like both and always have but never entertained a single thought of actually owning either. While I hated the eccentric styling of the over-the-top Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, it was easy for me to embrace the styling exercise of the Continental. The Merc looks cobbled together like a smorgasbord lunch. The Lincoln was reasoned out carefully and planned with never-before-seen styling concepts.

The Imperial is bold, finned and frivolous in the nicest kind of way. It takes the standard Chrysler car and puffs it up 120%. I love the color combo; it's beyond in your face!! And OMG; look at the curb finders/feelers!!!

The nicest of the two, only speaking for myself, is the Continental. Easy vote for moi!

Ugh! Those bug eyes on that Lincoln are scary. Once I got passed those the car is rather  straight not many curves. My vote goes for the Imperial better design. Nice grill and interesting taillights.

I cannot say that I like either of this pairing much. The Continental is the most attractive looking.

@perrone1 I love these Lincolns although I prefer the 59 over the 58 because the side sculpture extends into the doors which gives it a better balanced look IMO. Tony I'm glad you mentioned the curb feelers on the Imperial because I have them on my 1/1 55 Imperial. Lincoln for me because if you are going full boat, make it a yacht.

Neither car is for the faint of heart. Each one makes a strong in-your-face statement. The Imperial is gorgeous but its the '58 Continental that gets my pick for its one of a kind design.

Gents, thanks for your replies.
