'59 DeSoto, Mercury or Oldsmobile?

For me it's the Oldsmobile followed closely by the DeSoto and trailing the pack by a great distance is the Mercury.

Style wise, I find the Mercury most pleasing in 1959, not an especially pleasing year overall.The other two are pretty much a tie.

DeSoto then a tie for the Mercury and Oldsmobile. The color did it for me.

This one was so easy! Hands down the OLDSMOBILE! I like the other two as well, but against the Olds, it's a no-contest!

I will say this about the DeSoto. Compared to the awful (in my opinion) styling of the '57 and '58, it was refreshing to see a nice looking '59. As for the Mercury, I liked it, primarily because it was still a "Mercury" and not a "Ford". The '60 was a beautiful Mercury, and then in '61 it was a Ford again.

Normally I'd choose the Mercury, but the color of the DeSoto sealed the deal. DeSoto today, although I wouldn't mind having any of them in my garage.

I like the Mercury. Im not a big fan of the taillights treatment of the other two but all three are pretty cool overall.

Oldsmobile by a nose over DeSoto; both are very nice looking cars. Mercury is a distant third for me; this year was the least attractive Merc ever made IMHO.
