Two utterly classic icons. Love both but prefer the cleaner lines of the Continental and in that color combo - OH MY! Continental please John!!

As much as I have nostalgia for the Imperial, the Continental can't be denied. One of America's prettiest cars. It wins.

Continental please.  I have absolutely no interest in either car but the Continental looks better.

To me the Continental looks like an oversized boat, where the Imperial looks like a schooner sleek and fast!  Imperial for me.

The sharp, clean lines of the Continental win this comparison easily.

I wouldn't want either one of them parked in my driveway or even close to my house.  For 1961, both are runners-up for "The Ugliest Car Award".

Imperial for me... I'd love to spend all day Saturday...and probably Sunday polishing that gorgeous hunka metal. The Continental, while handsomely styled, is just too slab sided for me and my lambs wool polishing mitt 👍

Since I jilted my first automotive crush with my vote, I'm glad to see the Imperial get some love.

Two very beautiful but very different designs...today I'm going with the Continental.
