Improved Thunderbird but I still prefer the 300H.

Another tough one! I'll go with the T-Bird. But, the color on the 300 nearly swayed me!

CHRYLSER!  To my eyes, the Thunderbird looks like a drug trip gone bad.

Chrysler. The stylists did a great job with the '62!

The '62 is my favorite Chrysler of that decade; especially in red BUT the T-Bird is classier and sportier looking to my eye; it gets the nod by a slim margin.

Wow, we are in total agreement.  '62 Chrysler, my all time favorite Chrysler

LOL, I knew I couldn't be alone on the Thunderbird.  In the minority perhaps, but not alone.  After the beautiful "Square-Birds" of '58, '59, and '60, Ford stylists (in my opinion) completely lost it.  The '61 through '63 T-Birds could not have looked any stranger than they did.  Front to back, the proportions literally are odd in every way.  They just don't  flow smoothly.

Terry, I respectfully disagree...fins were "out" even in '61, let alone '62, yet Chrysler came up with a body style for '62 that to my eye was fully up to speed against its most direct competitor, Buick!

@moe-parr I agree Barry.  I thought Chryco made a simple and fairly inexpensive change to make the '62 far more contemporary looking.  IMHO it was  better looking than the Buick (which I also liked).
