I like both John, but I like the Plymouth a whole lot better. I'm not much of a fan of the Torino's fastback styling.

@100ford2003 Totally agree. GTX please. Not into most fastbacks even if it is GREEN. I did buy a '68 GREEN Dodge Super Bee
The mid 60s to mid 70s were best years for Plymouth. At 10 years of age I was already dreaming of one of these. So many older guys had one. The Torino is okay but the jury is still out on the fastback. They had a sedan that was truly ugly.
I love fastback styling on some cars. Mustangs, for instance, they look great. But on a larger car like the Torino, they unduly enlarge the look of the vehicle. GTX for the win today for me John!
GTX for the easy win.

@brush I love green cars, I've got my share of green in my collection. But its like any color, there's definitely some shades better than others. Regardless, it's the GTX, easily.💯
I hope Chrysler Corp. gave the stylists of the '68 mid-sizers a substantial bonus - it would have been well deserved! The exceptionally good-looking Plymouth wins handily today.
P.S. And then they deserved another bonus for the '70 "refresh", making an already beautiful car even more so!

I like the looks of the Torino notchback but not the fast back. I have a friend who has a notchback in green with the 428 Super Cobra Jet engine. Having said that, it doesn't hold a candle to the Plymouth.
I much prefer the notchback Torino design and 429 CJ powerplant to the fastback design, which IMHO would have definitely given the awesome GTX a strong run for its money in a comparison here. Plymouth gets the nod today.
While I much preferred the more compact Dart/Duster in 1968, the GTX is my choice also of the two today.
Another nod to the Plymouth.
