Sorry John, just too big and cumbersome for my tastes.

The '57 is my fave Caddy of the decade but '56 is a strong second.  The '60 is a distant third.

'57 for me...much more modern looking than the bulbous '56, and the '60 is just too cumbersome.

1957 looks lithe and clean. Just don't get t-boned in it.

NO-CONTEST!  The '56 by a landside.  It's the best looking car of the entire fifties decade from any automaker in my opinion.  The great looks began with the '54, then refined a little bit for '55, and finally perfection in styling for '56.  It gives me goose-bumps.

'57 1st

'60

'56

In that order for me.

The 60 is the best for me, both the '56 & '57 are just too bloated and dated looking.

GM switched to an X frame in 1957 to make for lower lines, subsequently diminishing protection in side crashes.

60, 57, 56 for me.  That long caddy, just says something.  "Look at me"

The bumper guards, bullets, what ever you call them are just too hideously big on the '56.  '57 my all time favorite Caddy [not the color pictured].  The '60 is just too big looking and handle terrible.  Only Caddy I love or would consider buying, the '57 series 62.
