Now for the models, the soul of the Brooklin model is very apparent and while the Automodello is nice, it can’t compare with the Brooklin.

100% agreement here, John. I find the Brooklins to have a certain, intangible "charm" that the resin models, despite perhaps being "crisper", just can't duplicate...and hence why I prefer them!

Here is a postcard photograph taken in downtown Riverside in the Fifties. On the left appears to be a Packard Caribbean from 1953 - 1954.

 I probably went right by it as a little kid ..... maybe pushed in a stroller by my Mom, lol ! They were beautiful automobiles then and they still are as full-size or as scale models.
