@ed-glorius - I voted Ford for its ubiquity and market support.
Good reasoning! The Ford is more of the DeLuxe version over the Chevy. The aforementioned side spares and external trunk are on the Ford, whereas the Chevy does not have them. A preference difference involves the Chevy being a three-window coupe while the Ford is a five-window coupe.
I'm with Charles and Ed. My ability to ID makes and years start in 32 for Fords, 38 for Chevys, and late 40s for all other makes. It ends in late 70s for them all. So I voted tie.
@sizedoesmatter Is it just me, or does the Chevy, especially in this color, look like it came out of the John Deere design department? The Ford has much sexier body interest and rounded lines. Uh Oh, I’m getting strangely aroused!
I know it’s a ‘31 but it’s a whole lot the same and it’s my favorite DM “A” photo. (other than Tony’s of course!)

LOL! Terrific, Kevin!!
Ertl makes a 1/25th scale 1930 roadster model in John Deere livery:
And the standard DM '31 coupe was in colors close to John Deere:
