Ford slight edge to break three way tie!

I like the look of the Plymouth. It wins, followed by the Ford.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
They all look the same with their bump out fenders. Tie for me.
Chevrolet has my vote. Overall it has a neat appearance while retaining all the flash up front, which we expect of the 1940s. I would be interested to see, if the colours were all changed around, my vote might change also .
This is the era that gets me confused. I know those who grew up around these designs clearly see the differences. But, to my eye, they look amazingly similar to each other. I have to hunt for badges and nameplates when I see one. I've seen the same phenomenon with younger folks who think all the fifties cars look the same while they can see the differences between today's cars easily. In the end, when we are young and dreaming, car lovers share the same passion and immerse themselves in the cars they hope to drive one day. They become students of the current designs.
So, I'll vote for the blue one. I'd love to drive them all and have actually done so for many of them. But, given the resources, I would not fill my garage with them.

For me, Ford, Plymouth, then Chevrolet. Like modern SUVs, they do tend to look alike at first viewing. The Chevrolet here looks most attractive in that blue, but beauty is often skin deep.

John, I think you've nailed this one.

This one is a little tougher for me and most of you who have followed my comments regarding our voting each day, I don't like "ties", unless they are on my shoes. And being truthful, I don't even like them on my shoes. So I looked closely at each car to find the slightest differences I could, and it help with my decision to vote.
This said, it would have been a little easier if they were NOT convertibles, as I often times I think the "rag top" takes much or all of a roof-line away from a car. So finally, here's how I vote, and why.
My #1 is the Plymouth. I like the top, as to my eyes, it gives a sleeker, fast-forward look to the car. I also like the rear wheel-well straight over the tires, rather than rounded.
Then for #2, I vote the Chevy. I like the slight slant down-ward of the rag top to the rear and the somewhat lower appearance of it.
That leaves the Ford #3, primarily because it appears to have a higher (unattractive to me) top and be more squared off because of it. Plus the body appears (again to my eyes) to be shorter and stubby looking compared to the other two.
So there you have it fellow car fans! No TIE for me!

I vote for the Ford for its styling and 8 cyl. flathead power train. Plymouth is a very strong second place as I have really come to appreciate its look more in recent years. The Chevrolet is decent enough but I have driven all of these three cars many years ago and found the Chevrolet lacking in handling and comfort by comparison.
I'm old and have no problem identifying these cars apart, in fact I have owned an example of both the Chevy and the Ford. For style it's a tie between the Chevy and the Plymouth. For drive train and performance, it's the Ford. Ford.
Plymouth please, very close to my '48 Dodge. Dislike '40's Ford and Chevy designing until '49. Yet in '49 I disliked the Plymouth styling. I generally don't care for Cars before 1948 or after 1972, of course there are a few outside these parameters I like. Such as: '77 '78 Pontiac Trans Am, '92 Pontiac Grand Prix Richard Petty Edition, '87 '88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe, '99 '2000 Cadillac Eldorado, '91 '92 Lincoln Mark VII LSC.
The Ford, and the Chevy especially, look bulky and bloated next to the Plymouth, which got my vote.

@brush Bruce; I figured that Plymouth would pull on your heart strings a bit. Lol.
Another old guy who can ID these three. For looks it's the Plymouth, for performance it's the V8 Ford and for build quality it's the Chevrolet.
