Gentlemen, I'll be taking advantage of the nice weather here in the northeast to work on some outdoor DIY projects. This should give some of you a break from criticizing, condemning and complaining while adding absolutely no value to this site. I'll be back for sure.

Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge, or Plymouth?

Be sure to make your selection.

Of course, please “Reply” to share your comments.

If selection is greater than 2 rank them.

I'm going with the Plymouth because it's the least offensive of the lineup and because my uncle had one.

DeSoto, Chrysler and tie between the Dodge and Plymouth for third but I like all of them.

I always felt that Chrysler Corp. saved their best styling for the namesake brand, so Chrysler for me, followed by DeSoto, Dodge, and Plymouth.

The last 3 days' comparisons show that GM had the most styling differentiation among their divisions, while Chrysler had the least, with Ford in the middle. Nicely done, John!

Nice work here John but I respectfully post no comments as none of these automobiles interest me.

For me it's DESOTO!  The "waterfall" grill clinches it!  Next is the Chrysler with Plymouth and Dodge being interchangeable to my eyes.

I'll also go with the DeSoto for its grille. The others tie.

Enjoy your time. Thanks so much for doing these polls.

For me, I like the Plymouth and Dodge about equally, but this time I go for that red Dodge. DeSoto is next and Chrysler last. Again the somewhat smaller models appeal more.

I'm with Steve on this one.  Generally, my heart doesn't start pumping until the 1954 model year.  Great pics BTW.

I just went with a tie.  They all look very much the same, which is similar on the GM side as well.  Fords and Merc's were different for this year, the other 2 were lagging behind in style change.

Even though I had a '48 Dodge I disliked Chrysler Corp designs before 1955. No interest in '49 - '54 line up.
